* Symptoms of sinusitis
If you have one or more of the following symptoms with a thick green or yellow liquid from the nose, then the condition may be diagnosed as acute sinusitis:
- Facial pressure and pain.
- Nose blockage.
- The discharge of sticky fluids from the nose.
- Decreased olfactory acuity. congestion; cough.
* In more advanced cases, some of the following symptoms may also be present:
- fever.
- Bad smell in the mouth.
- Fatigue and tiredness.
- Tooth pain.
- Pain in the head (headache).
- If these symptoms persist for about twelve weeks or more, the doctor may diagnose the condition as chronic sinusitis.
